The RijnsWeirdos:

Welcome - we are the RijnsWeirdos!

We are a collective of students, ready to investigate sustainability challenges on a neighbourhood level using a transdisciplinairy perspective. In doing so we aim to shine new light on developments which have stopped moving, have excluded important parties, or have failed to spark the imagination.

The idea for this collective was born while working on a case study in Rijnsweerd-Noord (RWN), a neighbourhood on the Eastern outskirts of Utrecht. You can find more information about this at 2035 - An Intervention.

We have created this platform to showcase our work, explain our method, and to enable the sharing, learning and dissemination of information relating to the Techniques of Futuring (ToF). Using our collective kaleidoscopic power we can come together to make the unimaginable imaginable, to challenge the dominant discourse and to open the process of futuring to all involved stakeholders.

The form of this sharing platform will evolve and grow over time - as will hopefully the content and ideas it will generate.
